Futurity presents an innovative plant-based and events-focused cup to be used over and over again. The cups are available in 425ml and 285ml and are customisable in colour and design to meet your brand guidelines. They are also available on a rental basis (New Zealand only) whereby we can collect and wash these cups at our circular washing facility.

Why Futurity Cups?

Futurity cups are the most sustainable alternative compared to single-use and traditional plastic cup offerings.

PLANT-BASED

This cup is made from a sugarcane feedstock that naturally captures carbon dioxide from the atmosphere as it grows. This material is -3.09kg carbon dioxide -eq/kg. A life cycle assessment will be undertaken in the near future to understand our total carbon footprint.

REUSABLE

Futurity have created a new events-focused cup that is highly durable and suitable for high-speed commercial dishwashing and drying. Futurity have established an off-site washing facility so that cups can be returned, and washed, to be reused over, and over again.

KERBSIDE RECYCLE

The cups can be recycled in kerbside recycling in New Zealand and Australia when they eventually degrade or are damaged. Futurity are actively collecting damaged cups to recycle on-site or with one of their recycling partners to ensure any damaged cups are processed into post-consumer recycling material to be repurposed into new products.

How it works

Option 1

Futurity Rental

Renting our generic Futurity branded cup is ideal for businesses wanting an economical and environmentally friendly solution.

We can liaise with your bar operators, event managers, promoters, waste management and other key personnel to ensure an on-the-day execution strategy is efficiently implemented.

A bond & return system is best suited to ensure that patrons are incentivised to return their cups back to their point of purchase. There is an additional charge for each cup that is damaged or not returned to Futurity.
